In Loving Memory of Yossi (Joe) Jacobowitz

I opened a blood donation campaign to honor the memory of my dear father who battled Lupus with a smile and very few complaints. He greeted every one with a smile and a good joke, mostly a self deprecating one. He was a man who lead by example with very little talk. He was big in an unassuming way, he encouraged, pushed and believed all could do better. The last two years of his life he needed many blood transfusions in order to help him with his treatment.
One year has almost past and losing him during Covid times added a much bigger trauma; for his family was not able to be by his side during his dying days. I want to turn this tragedy into a day of kindness; and day of giving; and a day courage for humanity.
