Red Cross Young Professionals | Choose Your Day
The dates have all been set. The family reunion, the baseball playoffs and the annual trip to the beach are all on the calendar. Summer is the season full of new adventures and long days that turn into memories we never forget. This summer, encourage your peers to choose the day they will help save lives!
The Red Cross National Young Professionals Council is hosting a virtual blood drive campaign to see who can make the biggest impact on the summer blood supply. Set up your virtual blood drive and then invite your peers to pledge to donate blood! Donors can pledge to donate at any American Red Cross blood drive or blood donation center. This friendly competition will help ensure a safe blood supply during a time when donations often decline.
Here’s what you and your friends can do to help:
1. #ChooseYourDay to donate between now and Sept. 6.
2. Visit sleevesup.redcrossblood.org to pledge your individual donation or start a MatchUp campaign for your Red Cross young professional group.
3. Use the hashtag #yoproblood.
4. Serve as a social media ambassador and share the need for blood with your personal and professional networks.
All presenting donors who donate at any American Red Cross blood drive or blood donation center during the time frames listed below will receive one of these Red Cross items, while supplies last!
• Independence Day: July 1 – 5, 2016: Limited-edition Red Cross lunch cooler
• Labor Day: September 2 – 6, 2016: Red Cross duffle bag
