As Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to affect communities across the country, this is an easy way you can help! We need your help immediately, as we are facing a severe blood shortage right now.
Rest assured, blood donation continues to be a safe process, and healthy, eligible donors are strongly urged to donate by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as part of the response to COVID-19 nationwide. The American Red Cross values the health of every individual, and they are taking every precaution to ensure safety at blood drives and donation centers, today and every day.
Once you sign up to donate blood in Willamette ESD’s Virtual Blood Drive, you will be directed to a list of American Red Cross donation centers to choose from. Just choose your appointment time and you are ready to donate!
