Wallace Montgomery typically schedules a blood drive with the American Red Cross twice a year in our Hunt Valley, Maryland office for our employees and other individuals to donate blood. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 Pandemic, these events had to be cancelled.
The Red Cross has developed the “Sleeves-Up Campaign” to promote continued blood donations, and WM is participating! This is a way to get the word out to our employees, families and friends that you can still donate blood at Red Cross donation centers near you through the end of the year.
The Red Cross has a goal to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood. So SleevesUp helps reach their goal. Please make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
