For MSU’s Day of Service on Saturday, April 8, we will be helping patients who depend on blood donations to help save their lives. There was not enough time to plan our own physical blood drive, so we are just hoping our fellow alumni can join us at the Salt Lake Donor Center in Murray for a photo and to give blood whenever it is convenient (but hopefully on that day). If you are not eligible, just come on out for moral support. Or you could watch peoples’ kids while they donate. Or share the need for blood on social media. Or bring some donuts.
Giving blood should take less than an hour of your time. Especially if you use your home computer to fill out a RapidPass on the day you are going to give blood. (Go to redcrossblood.org/rapidpass on the day of your donation.)
So SleevesUp and help us reach our goal. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross. Please schedule your appointment right away, as Saturdays fill up quickly at the donor center.
