Please join the “Clean Platelet Club” in honor of our friend Tim Fisher, who passed away in 2019.
Tim was a devoted advocate for the full welcome and celebration of people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions in the Lutheran Church (ELCA) and in our shared public life. A man of deep conviction and principles, he mixed hard work with grace, fun, and a gentle spirit.
Any blood donation is welcome at any time, but a platelet donation is particularly valuable for people coping with cancer, among other things, including surgery recovery. An excellent writer and wordsmith, we think Tim would smile to know his friends and colleagues would be donating to a Clean Platelet Club in his name.
