Open Hearts is a club at Bright Star Secondary Charter Academy whose mission is to educate our student body and uplift our community from within. Our school, Bright Star Secondary Charter Academy, is predominantly made up of students and educators of color from historically marginalized neighborhoods. Each member of our club strongly believes that through our association with the Red Cross we can achieve our goals to educate and uplift with an open heart. In hosting this virtual blood drive campaign we hope to do our part in helping our community.
