During his stay in the NICU, Meredith’s baby received blood products at least daily. These were essential to his care. Meredith has expressed her thanks for the medical community, hospital community, and her “army” in supporting her family during this difficult time. She let us know that blood donation is one of the best ways we can contribute.
As a country, we continue to experience an ongoing national blood shortage, so every drop is critical. One blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, so please consider making an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross in honor of the Powell family.
