Wyatt is a quiet and reserved 8th grader at Chestnut Ridge High School. He is a bright, compassionate, young man who has always been especially dedicated to his tight-knit family.
On April 26, 2020, Wyatt was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). [https://www.cancer.org/cancer/acute-myeloid-leukemia/about/what-is-aml.html] Throughout his treatments and battle against this illness, Wyatt may need multiple transfusions of platelets and other blood products.
Because the Chestnut Ridge School District has a way of bonding together to look after our own, we search for ways to support each other in times of crisis. None of us has the super power to take cancer away from kids. But we all possess the incredible gift of life blood that cannot be manufactured by any means.
Help Chestnut Ridge School District reach our goal and ensure that Wyatt (and others like him) receives the life saving blood he may need. Our goal is to donate 200 pints by his 14th birthday in August!
Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
Tech support has come through! Make your pledges and set up an appointment. Make sure you keep the appointment!
I’m not sure what happened, but the “pledge support” button has been inactivated. I’m hopeful it is a temporary issue. Please check back often.
