The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a shortage of blood in hospitals around the world, which will only be compounded as more elective procedures begin taking place. Therefore, the YMCA Model United Nations Program is asking you to pledge to donate blood to help combat these shortages and alleviate the concerns of those affected by the pandemic.
Keeping with the conference theme of caring, this will be a great way to show your care for the community and to help those in need. The Red Cross has already implemented many safety guidelines and precautionary measures at donating sites to ensure the safety and security of donors and doctors.
This Virtual Blood Drive Campaign is hosted by the Saint Joseph High School Delegation.
