This fall, the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and the American Red Cross are partnering to address the severe blood shortage across the US.
To help address the national blood supply shortage, we are asking all our member-companies to consider joining AdvaMed in meeting the needs of the American patient by holding a blood drive. All you have to do is pledge your support and make an appointment to donate.
Not only is the severe blood supply shortage impacting patients who had deferred treatment due to the COVID pandemic and a rise in trauma incidents, but the shortage is also impacting patients’ abilities to have elective surgeries to improve their quality of life.
Your participation in this special industry mobilization will be another important example of MedTech continuing to rise to the challenge posed by COVID-19.
