I used to be a blood donor. I thought it was important to help out, especially since I found out that my blood type (B-) is among the rare types of blood. I was only able to give 3 out of the 5 times I tried. For some reason my blood would clot as it was collected. I tried several things the Red Cross suggested, but I was never able to give again.
I felt bad, but the Red Cross workers suggested that I encourage others to give since I couldn’t. So if you’re a blood donor and you can give, you can contribute to my campaign. If you’ve never tried, I encourage you to do so. They will help you with whatever your needs are. I tend to get light-headed during blood work, so I got to lie down and have a snack brought to me.
Consider giving the "gift of life."
