One blood donation can save up to 3 lives… Be a Hero!

Georgia Gwinnett College’s Grizzlies Serve team from the Office of Student Involvement and The Student Center in collaboration with Wellness Programming are implementing the #SleevesUpGGC campaign. The #SleevesUpGGC campaign is a call to action for our Grizzly community to stand with the American Red Cross this summer by donating blood as we are reminded that the need for blood still stands true.

We encourage students, faculty, staff, and GGC alumni to pledge to make a summer blood donation appointment at their nearest American Red Cross location. Grizzlies who donate blood are welcome to upload a picture and tag us using #SleevesUpGGC or send pictures directly to [email protected] — we will feature pictures on GGC, Grizzlies Serve, Wellness, and other GGC specific platforms and webpages.

If you are not able to donate blood, you can support this campaign by encouraging a loved one to donate, accompanying a loved one as they donate blood, or simply sharing this campaign with your networks! We know that we can count on our Grizzly community to serve some of the most vulnerable patients… we are in this together!
