Brooks McEwen was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. As a part of her treatment, she’s been on a constant flow of blood and platelets for the past few weeks. The generosity of others is, quite literally, keeping her alive.
And in typical Brooks fashion, she wants to pay it forward!
Rather than food, flowers, or FaceTime, what she wants most right now is for all those who can to donate blood and/or platelets.
For those of you not in New York, we’d love it if you could send photos that we can share with Brooks to show everyone’s support for her, and for all the other loved ones out there who rely on this sort of generosity to help them through their treatments.
