The Goldie Initiative’s Alumnae & Events Committee is hosting a virtual blood drive for those that want to contribute to a COVID-19 relief effort by rolling their sleeves up and donating blood.
The shelter-at-home orders in many states, including Illinois, have forced many organizations to cancel blood drives that the Red Cross relies on to help surgery patients, car accident victims and those suffering from chronic illnesses and other medical conditions.
