Nekoosa FCCLA and HOSA-Future Health Professionals have teamed up to host a blood drive. We partner up often, but this time it’s different. This time, we want to do something meaningful, something that makes a difference. Donating blood saves lives, and living in a small community, we can come together to achieve this goal. Bringing awareness to high school students will create a lifelong desire to help others. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need, and by coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood.
So roll your sleeves up, and help us reach our goal! Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
