We work together every day to do important work. During VERTEX’s Global Health & Safety Day 2023 from May 1st through June 30th, we want to accomplish something even more meaningful. As part of our theme of Emergency Preparedness and Response, we’re partnering with The American Red Cross. The Red Cross needs to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across just the USA. That’s a lot of patients in need, but all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood.
