We are starting the year similar to how we ended it – in the midst of unprecedented times, especially when it comes to public health. There is a critical need for blood/plasma donations right now. Blood banks are wiped out right now, causing donor blood to be saved for only the most critical patients. We can do better than that!

Also, more personally, I have a good friend, Leslie, who is battling COVID. If you’ve had COVID, please consider donating plasma for convalescent plasma treatment which can make a big difference for COVID patients. Leslie is currently unable to receive more treatment because of a severe shortage in plasma. You can make a big difference for those who are in a serious battle with this deadly virus.

Here is my ask – I have 636 friends on Facebook. With that many great family and friends, I’ve set a goal for 100 blood/plasma donations through my virtual campaign. For those of us who have the fortune of good health, PLEASE consider donating to help gift others with good health as well!
