SleevesUp for Joe Palese

On April 13, 2019 the world lost an exceptional friend and acting coach, Joe Palese.

Joe impacted the lives of so many actors and friends through his passion, intuition, support and unwavering commitment. He was not just a coach or mentor but family to so many and will be deeply missed. Before Joe passed away he was in the hospital for approximately 60 days battling Myelodysplastic syndrome (also known as MDS) and was receiving blood 1- 2 x a day. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation like they did for Joe.

We would like to honor Joe’s memory and passion to help others by encouraging everyone that can and is willing to put their “SleevesUp for Joe Palese” Please sign-up, commit and then register to find a local blood drive near you during the month of June. With just one donation you can save up to 3 lives! Please help us reach our goal of 60 donations or you can help by sharing with your friends and family in his honor.

From your friends and students, you will always live in our hearts!
