I’m proud to partner again with the American Red Cross and the Nexcare Give Program, now in its ninth year. The Nexcare Give Program is a partnership with Nexcare Bandages and the American Red Cross to raise awareness about the need for blood donation and to celebrate all those who give around the world. The campaign is timed to World Blood Donor Day (June 14), which comes at a crucial time when blood centers often face shortages, due to fewer people donating blood and platelets in the summer months. In 2001, I found myself in a near-fatal car accident and received multiple blood transfusions from kind donors, which ultimately saved my life. Roll up a sleeve and give where you live to support this important cause!
