This month, in addition to our client services, FHW will be partnering with the Red Cross for National Blood Donor Month. Join us to celebrate the lifesaving impact of blood and platelet donation.

Marginalized communities are often the groups least likely or with least access to donate blood yet are often most in need. People of Color are strongly encouraged to donate blood, especially Black, African American, Latino, and Hispanic folks as they are usually the lowest percentage of donors meaning those with similar genetic make-up in need of blood – cannot access it when necessary.

January, National Blood Donor Month has been an instrumental time for saving lives for nearly fifty years, but this year is more important than ever!

Currently, our country is stretched VERY thin in terms of healthcare access and blood supply is dangerously low! Please consider joining our campaign – and bring your friends – to do what we can to safely and simply support our healthcare workers and fellow community members desperately in need of lifesaving blood donations!
