"Sleeves Up" for PT Day of Service

19 /1000

Everyday Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) work together to meet the rehabilitation needs of patients and clients here in California. This year for PT Day of Service, we are joining together to meet another significant community need – life saving blood donations!

The Red Cross has to collect approximately 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in almost 3,000 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country, that’s a lot of patients in need!

So get your "Sleeves Up" and help the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) reach our goal! Make and keep an appointment to donate blood at an American Red Cross donation center in your area.

What your donors are up to...

Take a photo of yourself donating blood and share it! Just use #SleevesUpPTDOS
