Sleeves up for Chris K.

Cisco Family,

With cancer patients resuming care after months of delayed treatment, there is a critical need for blood donors. Hospitals across the U.S. are experiencing a shortage in blood supply. Every minute, 6 products of blood are needed for cancer patients, accounting for 1/4 of the nation’s overall blood supply. Just 1 donation can save up to 3 lives.

In April, our colleague Chris Kirby was diagnosed with lymphoma. Chris has the support of many family members and friends. Now is the time for us to rally our Cisco Family and support one of our own who is currently undergoing treatment, including blood transfusions. Please consider using 1 to 2 hours of your Time to Give to donate blood. June is National Cancer Survivor’s month and there is no better way to honor someone with cancer than to contribute to this life saving measure for Chris and other’s in need. We are One Cisco but each of us can impact multiple lives!

For those wishing to reach out to Chris, a Caring Bridge will be established and shared soon for further support.
