Owen Mitchell Hernandez is a normal 9-year-old, He likes playing outside, fishing/lobstering and playing video games. He has a little sister Addie and a little brother Elliott. They live in great close-knit community in Berryville VA. Owen came down with the Strep virus and within 48 hours it had progressed to Sepsis. He was air lifted to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, VA. They have been doing plasmapheresis treatments which have shown an improvement in Owen’s condition. Owen may need additional Plasmapheresis treatments going forward and due to the National Blood shortage, they may not be available. Friends and family have asked how they can help, and this is how.
