Vincent D. Applewhite passed away on July 26, 2025 — far too soon. The blood and blood products he received, along with the dedicated care of the hospital staff, gave him a fighting chance and the time we needed for his family to come see him one last time.
In the spirit of his generous and giving nature, we invite those who wish to honor Vince to pay forward the gift of hope. In lieu of flowers, consider donating blood or making a financial contribution to the American Red Cross in his name, helping others in need just as others helped him.
