44 /75

Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness (SCAASF) is a nonprofit organization with a focus to bring about a greater awareness of sickle cell disease, advocate for improved healthcare and educate to empower those individuals living with sickle cell disease. Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is a blood disorder that requires individuals to receive transfusion and blood exchanges on a regular basis.

SCAA will host this month-long blood drive during February black history month. It is important that to this community be represented in order to have the necessary blood available. SCAA wanted to be sure to maximize our reach of donors by having a virtual blood drive which affords individuals to donate in their community at their convenience.

Once you have completed the pledge and keyed in your zip code a list of locations near you will appear on the left side of the screen whereby you can select the nearest site in your community. PLEASE PLEDGE TODAY AND MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

As the sponsor of the blood drive, SCAASF’s sponsor code is 228. PLEASE ENTER THAT CODE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION.
It’s just that simple.

Feel free to send this campaign to all you know so we can make FEBRUARY a banner month for BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

Thank you for helping to save and maintain lives of people living with the sickle cell disease.
If you have any questions, please send an email to [email protected] and we will respond within 48 hours.
