In honor of Evelyn Garbarek, high school students Megan Gilmore and Clay Sanchez are hosting a virtual blood drive to encourage donations in this desperate time of need.
Donating has been made as safe as possible in the pandemic. Any concerns about transmitting the virus can be eased; there is no evidence or data that Covid-19, a respiratory virus, can be transmitted via blood. However, if you are sick or experiencing any kind of symptoms, please get tested and cleared before coming in and donating. Our safety depends on you!
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. We hope you can take a hour or two out of your day to help someone in need. As they say: give blood, give life.
