Summer time is often a time of blood shortages throughout the country. Many of us are fortunate to have fully active, functioning bodies. The next two months we will be running a virtual blood drive to win a signed Atlanta United ball by Chris McCann!! Here’s how you enter – donate blood anytime, anywhere between the dates of July 1st to August 31. Take a selfie or have the nurse take a sweet shot of you trying not to pass out or maybe nomming on them cookies afterwards and post in the group on Facebook and/or Instagram using #RSBleed. If publicly posting makes you uncomfortable, message me directly via FB, Instagram, or email. Your picture serves as your entry for the signed jersey.
Only ~3%of the U.S. population donates blood, yet every 2 seconds, someone needs it. I set our goal to give 100 pints of blood which would be about only 15% of this awesome group of folks.
Bonus ways to enter! You will get 5 entries if you choose to PowerRed or Platelet donate. You will also get 5 entries if you pass out while giving blood 😛
