This campaign is very important because it raises awareness of the need for blood donations, which can help many people, especially those with sickle cell disease have healthier lives. Patients with sickle cell disease need regular blood transfusions to manage their chronic illness and improve their quality of life. In addition, Roll Up and Rescue can raise awareness and provide a sense of community for those who donated and pledged, and therefore can lead to more funding and support for blood transfusions. Although I do not know anyone who has been impacted by sickle cell disease, many people know someone who is personally impacted by sickle cell disease or other diseases that require blood donations. Through this campaign, it shows a shared dedication to saving lives and having a real impact on blood health. Let’s donate together!
