The American Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. However, the Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage because blood donations are being distributed faster than they are coming in. This is concerning, and that’s why we’re asking everyone to come out and support Red Cross’s blood drives. Patients at hospitals need your help.
