1 Donation Saves 3 Lives. The Riverside High School Red Cross Club is working to aid the national blood crisis. Blood donations and platelets are critically needed by doctors and the current shortages have placed many patients at risk. Due to the pandemic there has been a sharp drop in blood donors. Many schools have been unable to partake in blood drives and staffing shortages have caused an increase in cancellations. The RVHS Red Cross Club hopes to give this chance to their members as a way to get involved to help their community. However this opportunity is not just open to members, we encourage anyone eligible to pledge to donate blood! All types of blood are urgently needed.
