Over the course of Kaitlyn’s incident she required 3 complete blood transfusions. Without the Blood Bank, Kaitlyn would have succumb to her injuries within the first few hours of the accident. Although the outcome was not life sustained, we are grateful for the additional few hours we had with her thanks to those that had given previously. As a result our family has completed 3 blood drives between Olivia & Parker partnering with Red Cross and their respective schools (KSU & CCA). Along with this virtual drive that we are working on, Parker is currently conducting his 2nd Annual Blood Drive live @ Central Christian Academy in Wichita, KS. We have helped orchestrate near 100 donations thus far and with these 2 current drives we hope to close out 2024 with over 200 Units of Blood Collected in honor of Kaitlyn.
