Quinn was born on July 25th, 2018 with Congenital Heart Disease, or CHD. She underwent 3 open heart surgeries and too many other procedures to count while at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Her heart continued to struggle and she was listed for a heart transplant in December of 2018. After 69 days, she received her new heart on February 20th, 2019.
Every year on Quinn’s heartiversary, the date she received her new heart, we show our gratitude by giving back to our community. We are forever grateful for the wonderful medical staff that helped save our daughter’s life (and helped keep us sane) and to Quinn’s heart donor and their family who made a heroic choice. This year, our community needs blood. Quinn has used her fair share of the blood supply and we hope to do our part to provide blood to those who need it now. Thank you for considering donating blood in the honor of Quinn and her heart donor.
