We’ve all seen photos of the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian in Florida and South Carolina. What doesn’t come through in these images is the critically low supply of donated blood.
Every two seconds, someone requires a blood transfusion for surgery, cancer treatment, childbirth, anemia, serious injury, blood disorders, and more. This means that millions of people – including those in our Proscia community – may not be able to get the blood they need.
Please consider doing good and donating blood if you are able. It could help to save a life.
