Michal Porter was a dedicated blood donor and was passionate about the cause. He donated more than 9 gallons of blood over the course of many years of giving. He was excited about crossing the 10 gallon threshold but unfortunately was unable to accomplish this goal. His friends and family have started this campaign to honor his life and passion by helping complete his mission and beyond.
Our goal is to have 10 gallons of blood donations pledged in Michael’s honor between now and the 4th of July, which is a special day for Michael and his family. This goal is 80 pints of donated blood – just 80 people pledging to make one donation in the coming months.

Thank you to everyone who pledged to donate blood in Michael’s memory! We were able (so far) to secure 54 pledges, totaling nearly 7 gallons of donated blood. It is an impressive number. The campaign goal was to reach 80 pledges by July 4, but the campaign is still open and new pledges are occasionally trickling in.
So, it’s better late than never. If you are ready to donate again, please consider pledging through this campaign and lets get to 80 pledges just whenever we get there.
