Peter was diagnosed with Peripheral TCell Lymphoma in March 2020. PTCL is an umbrella term for certain rare types of blood cancer.
Peter often needed whole blood & platelet transfusions in order to keep levels where they needed to be in order to continue his fight.
I believe that the contribution of strangers to the blood supply gave us all more time with Peter.
During the month of February, Peter’s birthday month, #TEAMSCHRIBES will be hosting a virtual blood drive in his memory.
