Peter was diagnosed with Peripheral TCell Lymphoma in March 2020. PTCL is an umbrella term for certain rare types of blood cancer.
After being diagnosed with Peripheral TCell Lymphoma in 2020, Peter often needed whole blood and platelet transfusions in order to keep levels where they needed to be in order to continue his treatment. I believe that the contribution of strangers to the blood supply gave us all more time with Peter.
During the month of February, Peter’s birthday month, #TEAMSCHRIBES will be hosting a virtual blood drive in his memory.
