As many of you know, Paul began his battle with multiple myeloma in February of this year. Since then, his strength and resilience have been on full display. Persevering through his treatments has not always been easy. Through it all, we have been incredibly grateful for the love and support we have received from our community.
Many of you have reached out, shown up, and made regular offers to do something. In true Barsamian fashion, we have often struggled to ask for help. It wasn’t until a recent, particularly challenging week in the hospital that it dawned on us. Paul has been the direct beneficiary of many blood transfusions and we have seen first-hand just how critical and valuable blood donations can be.
So, we are assembling our vampire squad and asking those who are able to roll up their sleeves and allow their blood to be sucked in honor of Paul’s fight against cancer. Yes, of course we had to put a Halloween spin on it! We will also be hosting a small open house with tricks and treats on Saturday November 2nd to thank you all for your participation in person and have a short visit.
The Details:
– Please donate at your local Red Cross between October 1st and November 1st
– Share your donations through this campaign
– Stop by on Saturday, November 2nd between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to celebrate
