On November 28, 2023, Phia Wyn Pardee was born to a happy healthy mother. The postpartum hemorrhage that followed required me to receive 42 units of blood products in total – enough to replace my blood volume six times over; they ran out of my blood type at all hospitals in the area. To honor the 42 people who donated blood to save my life, and give Phia and Mills back that happy healthy mother, I am campaigning to get 42 new blood donations at the anniversary of Phia’s birth. It would mean so much to me whoever is willing and able to contribute – to pay it forward to others in need of blood RIGHT NOW. What other family or families can we save this year, going through their own catastrophes? We can do it!
