Welcome to PACyber’s Virtual Blood Drive for the Red Cross 2022! One blood donation can save up to 3 lives! In fact, every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. A pledge is a promise, there is no obligation to immediately give money or blood. By pledging, you are promising to support the American Red Cross, and continue to show support even after this drive is over.
Unfortunately, the Red Cross’ blood supply hit historic lows in the last few months. We encourage you all, if able, please donate blood as soon as you can. We know it’s scary, but we’ll be with you every step of the way. Our current goal is to have 100 donors! When we hit 50 donors, our wonderful 9-12 principle, Dr. Barris agreed to a pie-to-the-face! When we hit 100 donors, we’re gonna throw a pizza party at PACyber’s regional offices!
If 100 people donate, 300 people could be saved by those blood donations. This is your chance to make a difference! Sleeves Up, PACyber! Let’s go save lives!
I donated!! I know donating blood can seem very intimidating, but it isn’t as bad as it seems! If you can, I encourage you all to donate blood! It’s so exciting to have the opportunity to save lives!! Make sure you eat full meals, drink lots of water and electrolyte rich drinks before your appointment. Chat with the Red Cross team and get to know them a little, they are amazing and wonderful at their job! You got this!!
