Overcoming the fear of being different!

Be true to you.

I’ve always wanted to donate blood since I was in the fourth grade, and I’m thrilled to say March 22, 2017 will be my first official time donating blood. A lot of people have fears (needles), but to be able to say you helped save lives by donating blood is great. Just because people are judgmental towards donating blood doesn’t mean you are to conform. So be that teammate, coworker, or whatever you are to take a stand and make a difference in other’s lives.

One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need, but it took on a new meaning recently.

Without volunteer blood donors, our story might have had a different ending. Help me reach my goal and ensure that patients receive the life saving blood they need. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
