Donating blood is so important to our family. When I gave birth to our son Lucas, I lost a lot of blood. It was something that we, as new parents, didn’t even think to worry about! But there I was all of a sudden relying on the donations of others so I could live to raise my new baby boy, or even hold him for the first time. Donating will always be an important part of our family’s story and I’m so excited to be able to start this campaign during the National Blood Donor Month!
