There is currently a shortage of donated blood across the nation. According to the American Red Cross, 15,000 blood donations must be collected every day to help patients in the 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need, and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive lifesaving blood.
We encourage you to make a blood donation as part of CDAC’s Virtual Blood Drive competition! Compete nationwide with other regional CDACs to win bragging rights and virtual CDAC certificates! Make your pledge through your CDAC Region’s campaign and schedule your appointment to donate through the American Red Cross’s website to receive credit!
