We are back to help Meet the Need in 2023! The winter months can be especially difficult to collect enough blood and platelets to meet patient needs. Inclement weather can result in blood drive cancellations and seasonal illnesses can prevent donors from making or keeping appointments to give.
Every two seconds, someone in this country needs blood, which means that the Red Cross must collect 15,000 donations every day to have enough to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country.
To do our part and in honor of National Blood Donor Month, join us from now until January 31 to pledge to save lives; our goal this year is to touch 300 lives through the gift of lifesaving blood.
