As Governor Larry Hogan leads our state through the Roadmap to Recovery, Maryland’s state law enforcement agencies want to honor the memories of those Marylanders who lost their lives to COVID-19 and honor the service of all those who help fight it. To honor them, we are launching the #SleevesUpMD Blood Drive, in partnership with the American Red Cross. The SleevesUp campaign seeks to raise 150 pledges for blood donations. Blood supplies are at a critical shortage. Just one lifesaving, selfless, donation can save as many as three people.
The Maryland Department of State Police, Maryland Transportation Authority Police, Maryland Natural Resources Police, Maryland Capitol Police and the Maryland Transit Administration Police encourage all Maryland law enforcement and first responders to help us reach this goal. We also invite you, the citizens of Maryland, to help us save lives. #SleevesUpMD can make an incredible difference.
