Join Chief Dan Jones and Captain Dennis Tessier on June 6, 2025 at Quirk Kia Manchester NH (1300 S. Porter St.) for the annual WMUR Blood Drive
Why a Blood Drive Matters to the Litchfield Police Department
At the Litchfield Police Department, our commitment to protecting and serving our community extends beyond law enforcement — it includes stepping up in times of crisis and saving lives whenever we can. Hosting and supporting a blood drive is one of the most direct, meaningful ways we can make that impact.
Every day, someone in our region needs a blood transfusion due to accidents, surgeries, or medical conditions like cancer or anemia. First responders, including our officers, see the urgent need for blood firsthand at accident scenes and in emergency situations. We know how critical it is to have a ready and available blood supply.
By participating in a blood drive, we not only give back to the community we serve, but also help ensure that lifesaving blood is on hand when our residents — or our fellow first responders — need it most. It’s a simple act with a powerful result: one donation can save up to three lives.
We invite all members of the Litchfield community to join us in this vital effort.
Together, we can save lives.
