Linda’s Light

My mom, who developed Myelodysplastic Syndrome as a result of her chemotherapy treatments, was receiving platelets and red cells every week, since January.

Those donations of blood helped her to have the strength to go on her last vacation, a bucket list trip to Hawaii in February. They prolonged her life. Ideally they would have carried her through until she could get a bone marrow transplant.. it just didn’t happen that way.

Please donate blood. It helps to save a life.. or even just gives someone more time.
