My donation journey began after I lost my daughter, Lesley, June 2, 2013. Lesley received blood transfusions at Columbia NY Presbyterian hospital when she became very ill while awaiting her double lung transplant. Someone’s blood donation gave Lesley more time to be with her family. I will be forever grateful for the precious extra time it afforded us. Please consider donating to give others a chance.
