Dan, known to his loved ones as the Legendary Popsicle or simply Pops, was always ready to lend a hand and firmly believed in the importance of regular blood donation. In 2015, his grandson Colten was diagnosed with stage 4, high-risk Neuroblastoma at the young age of 4, and he continues to bravely battle the illness. Like many undergoing cancer treatment, Colten relies on numerous blood and platelet transfusions to support him in his fight—a vital lifeline he couldn’t do without. As we mark Pops’ first heavenly birthday, we humbly ask you to consider signing up to donate blood, not only in remembrance of Dan but for all those who depend on it for their survival. With a national blood shortage looming, together we can make a difference! The campaign will run from Dan’s Birthday month through Colten’s. Thank you!!
