My mother was 33 weeks pregnant with me and on her way to the appointment to the hospital. She was sitting in the passenger seat until she suddenly felt blood gushing out of her, and it kept on coming out. Soon, the passenger seat was filled with blood. She had a placenta abruption, without any warning or previous knowledge of what it was. She lost around 3L of blood within minutes. Without blood donors, she would’ve died and I am not quite sure I would be here today. Something as simple as donating blood can change someone’s entire world. I made this campaign to inspire more people to donate blood. Thank you for listening to my story!
